Mosaic Camps 2012 Summer Mosaic *BREAK* Camp
 Explore
the ancient art of mosaics in these fun and educational
one-week camps in the heart of Hyde Park. After the ceremonial
Initial Plate Smashing, Holli teaches students all they
need to know in order to create amazing tables, mirrors,
stepping stones, birdhouses, lamps, and garden objects,
and more. With so many great projects and so many cool supplies
like tile, ceramics, glass, mirror, shells and pottery to
work with, your child is sure to have a great time creating
beautiful pieces you’ll both treasure.
Kids
love our colorful art cottage with its light-filled classroom
and large outdoor garden play area. We will have fun water
play outside during breaks and lots of plates for BREAKing!
Plus Pizza on Friday!
We are a very small camp and take a maximum of 10 campers

Campers
must pack their own lunch and drink Monday-Thursday
A
pizza lunch is provided on Fridays and Wednesdays we provide
all the goodies for campers to make their own ice cream
sundaes.
Please
wear play clothes that can get dirty and wet, you may send
along an extra set of clothes just in case!

Material Cost per week is included in camp total. All other
supplies, projects and snacks will be provided.
Our enthusiastic and professional staff led by instructor,
mosaic artist and art educator, Holli Brown, gives positive
reinforcement and creative encouragement.
Holli has created both small and large-scale mosaics for
over a decade. Her work encompasses everything from
uniquely designed custom pieces to restoration and public
art
installations. She has simultaneously shared her love of
this art form with hundreds of kids and adults through classes,
seminars and private instruction.
