Custom projects are most welcome. If you have an idea for a project you would like created in mosaic, please feel free to contact me with any questions.

These are the price ranges for the different mediums I use.
Stained Glass usually range from $65 - $150 per square foot of design.
Vitreous glass tile ranges from $100 - $200 per square foot of design.
Metallic vitreous glass tile ranges from $125 - $225 per square foot of design.
Ceramic tile ranges from $150 - $250 per square foot of design.
Marble mosaics range from $300 to $450 per square foot of design.
Pebble mosaics range from $200- $350 per square foot of design.

The prices vary due to complexity of design, number of colors used and the size of the mosaic. The prices include all labor and materials for the piece of art to be made. In order for us to write up an Estimate of Project Cost, please have the following information ready:

  • project size (inches, feet, or metric) and shape (rectangular, circular, etc.)
  • where the mosaic will be located (outdoors, indoors, bathroom, wall, floor, etc.)
  • what materials would you like us to use (stained glass tiles, smalti, stone, etc.)
  • what type of design would you like? (e-mail samples of pictures, or URLs , if you have any image references)
  • is there a projected deadline for the mosaic to be completed by?
  • if possible, e-mail the photograph of space where mosaic will be located.
  • please, provide us with the shipping address, so we can get an estimated shipping.
Important: Mosaics take time to make. Please, plan accordingly.
The Following conditions may apply on commissioning work:

First Consultation: Discuss placement, materials, and design with the client. The cost of this consultation (longer for some clients than for others) is reflected in the nonrefundable Design Fee and final Project Price.

Design Authorization and Design Fee: If after the First Consultation the client wants us to prepare a design, the client will authorize in writing. I will then design and prepare a proposal for the project based on the First Consultation, including a description of the proposed materials, and a proposed Project Price. The Design Fee will range from $150
to $400. We will determine the Design Fee after the First Consultation based on our discussion concerning the project proposal. The Design Fee will be paid in full by cash or check before we will begin any work beyond the First Consultation. All Design Fees will be applied to and credited against the final cost of an installed project.

Second Consultation: Present the proposal. Discuss the client’s response to proposal and will address the client’s wishes for modifications to the proposal, if any. Discuss materials costs, installation cost projections, a project timeline, and the Project Price. If the client wishes to modify the design proposal after the Second Consultation, the client will issue written authorization to incur additional Design Fees billable at $100 per hour.

Deposit: After obtaining the client’s written approval of and authorization for commencement of work on the project with an agreed proposal and design, and per these Terms and Conditions, the client will pay (1) any unpaid Design Fees arising from the Second Consultation; (2) a non-refundable deposit equivalent to 50% of the projected installation cost component of the Project Price, and 100% of the projected materials cost. We never advance materials costs on behalf of any client.

Materials: All materials once paid for by the client will be delivered to Studio. Only those materials used in the project and installed on the client’s property become the property of the client. We order approximately 10% more materials than the final work will require. This margin provides for waste and the subjectivity required to complete project. If the client terminates the project in writing before commencement of any work, all such materials will be returned to client.

Installation: Project installation will be billed per man hour at the determined rate (base is $60). It is possible that the project is installed by the third party, such as a professional masonry worker. It is client's sole responsibility to pay all the applicable costs and fees related to the installation, including the installation time, materials, insurance, etc.

Final Payment: The remaining balance due shall be payable immediately upon completion and installation of the project, and shall accrue interest at the rate of 1.5% monthly until paid commencing on the next day following issuance of Notice of Completion to the client, together with a final billing. For smaller projects that will be shipped, payment must be received before shipping. Note: shipping and packaging costs are not included in the price of the mosaic and will be billed separately.

Mosaic are magic and uniquely beautiful because of the handmade nature of the work. Mosaic installation is a classic addition to any fixture. Suitable for interior or exterior applications.
